Our expertise at your service
Qualilab
We perform tests on a wide range of products
from automotive components to lighting fixtures, acoustic and visual signalling devices and much more. Our streamlined and efficient structure allows us to manage your testing needs.

Automotive and transport
QUALILAB is able to meet the testing needs of the automotive industry for a wide range of vehicle components. Through a comprehensive range of tests, we cover most of the requirements specified in automotive standards.
QUALILAB can test performance, functionality, and simulate the aging of any product or device exposed to temperature, humidity, vibration, dust and liquid ingress (IP tests), shock, corrosion, light aging, fatigue, emissions, and electromagnetic immunity. These tests reproduce the environmental conditions to which the product or device may be subjected throughout its lifecycle — from storage and transportation to operational use.
Electrical/electronic components, moldings, aesthetic elements, dashboards, switches, headlights, alloy wheels, and many more are just some of the items we can test and characterize.

Automotive and bicycle homologations
QUALILAB is a recognized technical service KBA (E1), we are also accredited by VSCC and AMECA. Through these recognitions, we can approve vehicle lighting devices in terms of their photometric characteristics and electrical/electronic devices for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements.
QUALILAB is also recognized by KBA for the homologation of alloy wheels (StVZO and UNECE R124) and for lighting devices for bicycles (StVZO).

Lighting Technology
Proper design of lighting devices is essential to comply with all national and international standards governing the illumination of public and private spaces. Professionals involved in lighting design for both indoor and outdoor environments require accurate information on the light distribution emitted by the lighting devices they intend to use.
The high-quality instrumentation of QUALILAB’s laboratory enables precise and reliable characterization of light distribution, efficiency, light pollution, and colorimetric performance.
A set of data that a modern company cannot afford not to provide to its clients.
QUALILAB also provides services related to photobiological safety testing (EN62471, IEC/TR62778), electrical safety, and electromagnetic compatibility.
We can also assess IP protection degree, corrosion resistance, and performance under vibration, temperature, humidity, and many other environmental conditions.

Product Characterization
Thanks to QUALILAB’s wide range of equipment and instruments, we can meet diverse testing requirements for a variety of products.
The lifecycle of all equipment includes storage, transportation, installation, and operation. During these stages, devices may be exposed to more or less aggressive environments characterized by variable temperature, humidity, vibration, corrosive atmospheres, and exposure to natural or artificial radiation.
We have equipment and instruments capable of simulating all these environments, allowing us to verify the correct operation and performance retention of the tested devices.

Construction products
To meet our clients’ needs, we have taken an important step forward by becoming a QUALILAB Notified Body under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) No. 305/2011.
At QUALILAB, you can manage the entire testing process (ITT) and certification/maintenance (FPC) for various types of products related to signaling and fire protection.
In particular, QUALILAB is recognized for:
